| This project aims to develop an interactive online mapping platform to visualize and analyze seaweed production across Indonesia. The platform will integrate spatial, environmental, and socio-economic data to provide a comprehensive overview of the seaweed industry and its potential growth areas.
By combining academic research, field data, and digital technology, the project will help policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders make informed decisions for sustainable seaweed development. Activities include data collection, system design, stakeholder validation, and capacity-building workshops.

The expected outcome is a user-friendly, data-driven tool that supports evidence-based policies, strengthens collaboration between Indonesia and Australia, and enhances the competitiveness and sustainability of Indonesia’s seaweed sector.
